We were having friends over for a BBQ and I needed a quick and yummy dessert and I was so excited when I realized that I had all of the ingredients on had for us to make these super delicious Pineapple Upside Down Cupcakes from Family Fun Magazine.
Emily was very happy to help out wherever possible, this was really a special treat since we have not been doing a lot of baking recently.
Sprinkling the brown sugar into the muffin pan
Whisking together the batter for the cupcakes.
Spooning the batter into the muffin cups.
We made a large pineapple upside down cake this week and Madison LOVED being able to do almost all of it by herself! It looks like Emily was just as pleased!
ReplyDeleteYUM-O!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute - cupcakes are cuter than the cake version!
ReplyDeleteoo these look delicious!
ReplyDeleteYum those look so good! We haven't been doing baking lately either .. due to my gest. diabetes I can't eat any sweets so I don't wanna torture myself baking them!
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea! I'm going to have to try it, since that's one of my favorite cakes! Portion control, individual cake awesomeness! (Oops, overusing the exclamation point again!)
ReplyDeleteThose cakes look so yummy and how sweet to make them in a cupcake version. Emily looks like she was a great help baking these goodies.
ReplyDeleteOur family will be keeping Juliette and your family in our prayers as you prepare and undergo her surgery. Our thoughts and prayers are certainly with you.
