Field Trip Fun!!!

IMG_4336I have wanted to take Emily to the Crayola Factory, in Easton Pennsylvania since she was born, but knew that I would have to wait for her to be older to actually enjoy it.  We finally got to go at the beginning of the month and it was so much fun.  We went with our friends who also have two little girls that are the same ages as Emily and Juliette which made the trip even better!

Once we got into the museum there were different stations set up where the girls were able to be creative with the different Crayola products.

Emily got to use construction paper crayons (which were really neat) to make a sun picture.  There were lots of examples of other children's projects hung up all around and both girls seemed to enjoy working on their own creations.

Using window markers to draw on the glass was one of my favorite sections.

Juliette seemed to enjoy it a lot too :0)IMG_4346

We watched a show about how crayons are made and all the kids were given a red crayon fresh from the line.

Everyone was able to use sidewalk chalk to draw on the “sidewalk.”

These are just a few of the fun things that we did while at the Crayola Factory.  There was also a section where we made an undersea painting and then put them through a special drying machine.  The girls had fun working with their own piece of model magic too!

  4. Wow! I didn't even know they had that. We'll be sure to make a visit when we ever go to the East Coast.

  7. So jealous of the fact that you can go to this! Perhaps if we are ever in the great state of Pennsylvania, we will be able to swing by and test out the sidewalk chalk ourselves...
