Since Emily’s Favorite Color is Green I was looking forward to all the green projects that we could create for St. Patrick’s Day.
Emily was so excited to be creating in GREEN!
Coffee Filter Clover
When I first saw the idea for these coffee filter clovers, on Under the Table & Dreaming I knew I wanted to try them. (Be sure to visit her blog, her finished project makes the most beautiful piece of art for your walls!) We have done a few other coffee filter crafts and they are always a big hit! When they were finished they looked adorable and were so much fun to make.
Emily colored on some coffee filters with yellow and blue markers while Juliette practiced pulling up on the chair right next to her. (She can’t wait to join in the crafty fun!!)
Once she filled up the coffee filter with color I gave her a spray bottle and had her soak them with water. (The tray was a huge help in containing a potential for major mess!!) It was fun to watch the yellow and blue blend together to make GREEN!
When they were dry I folded them and then cut them into heart shapes. Emily glued them onto a piece of card stock in the shape of a clover and added a button in the middle.

They turned out great - I love how vivid the colors are! :)
These are so cute!
I really think Juliette wants to join Emily and make clovers herself too. Both of them look so adorable. Emily did a great job on the clovers! It's lovely.
i love the coffee filter card, great idea and wow your child is wearing a white shirt while doing it LOL
I have never done this nice idea, I will shelf it for next year.
Wow, that came out so nice!
These look fabulous! I love the card idea! Thanks so much for adding my link - I greatly appreciate it! Hope you are enjoying your weekend - Happy Spring!
