This weeks Open Ended Art theme is Blue and Silver. Emily had a great time creating her art with Mommy and Daddy today. I am not feeling well so Daddy stayed home to help watch the girls!!
To start I set out a tray of blue and silver art supplies:
Foil, Blue Construction Paper, Blue and Silver Snowflake Stickers, Blue and Silver Glitter Glue, Blue Markers and Blue and Silver Sequins and Spangles (these are currently Emily’s favorite art supply!!)
Emily couldn’t wait to get her hands on all of the fun supplies, she got right to work creating her masterpiece!!
Emily colored with the blue markers.
Then, painted with the blue glitter glue.
She liked ripping the tin foil and scrunching it into balls to glue onto the paper.
And of course her favorite part was gluing on the sequins and spangles!!
Emily’s Blue and Silver Work of Art!!
Nice project....I have not felt up to doing hardly anything with Ryleigh.... so Im guessing no Tot school post this week. When you get a chance please go here: http://countingcoconuts.blogspot.com/2009/12/business-of-commenting.html
ReplyDelete:)
Oooo. Emily's creation is great. Gluing on sequins is such a good way to work on fine motor skills.
ReplyDeleteEmily did great! I am sure our project would be about stickers only. For some reason we are in anti-glue phase at the moment.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, i love it! She did such a good job!
