Emily's Bean Mosaic Leaf
This month's Open Ended Art theme is Mosaics. This weeks material is paper so Emily and I made a special trip to the store for a bag of beans. I was excited to find a mixed bag of beans so that she would have a nice variety of sizes and colors. After sorting the beans the colors reminded me of fall so I cut a leaf shape out of cardboard for Emily to do her mosaic on.
Great idea to make a leaf. It looks nice!
ReplyDeleteI love it! It must have taken a bit of time to sort all of those beans :)
ReplyDeleteThis leaf turned out gorgeous. I am impressed that Emily persisted on it, this definitely wouldn't have happened here :)
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love how you have her sort things first! I also like your Fall themed leaf idea. She did an awesome job--what patience she must have!

ReplyDeleteShe concentrates so hard on all her projects and she always does such a good job! I love her bean leaf mosaic! Great job, Emily! :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks great. I made a mosaic bean butterfly for the letter B with my son last year. Next time I will have him sort the beans first. That is a good idea.
