Strawberry Apple Sauce
Emily and I both LOVE the flavored applesauce in the cups, however I usually buy the giant size of applesauce since I usually give it to Emily as part of her dinner to sneak in a fruit serving and it is so much more economical. So when we went strawberry picking in June, I pureed some of the strawberries and froze them in ice cube trays. Once they were frozen I popped them out into a Ziploc bag. Now when we want strawberry flavored applesauce I just thaw one of the cubes in the microwave and mix it with a serving of applesauce. I plan on trying this with peach, blueberry and mango too!

Ooh I love the peanut butter and jelly rollups - we'll definitely be trying that! You always have such fun ideas - I should send Matthew to your house for his meals, lol. He is so picky and I get stuck in the same rut all the time, sigh. I like the strawberry puree in applesauce idea too!
Great idea about the applesauce. My lil girl loves the flavored ones, as well. Thanks for the tip!
Hi Michelle
I love how you have put together such a diverse range of yummy goodies.
Feather painting sounds like it was lots of fun and Emily's creation is wonderful. I also love to paint when my little ones are painting.
Just found your blog. Great applesauce tip! Thanks!
Great tin! I'm going to have to try that with our applesauce, too.
