We made some Mini Carmel Apples this week for our apple themed Muffin Tin Monday. They were really easy to make and Emily really enjoyed being able to make something all by herself (for the most part). These are great for kids because they are much easier to eat too!
I used my Melon Baller to make little apple balls. I got 6 balls from 1 small apple.
I poked a toothpick into each ball and let Emily dip it into Carmel sauce...
...and then some sprinkles!

How fun! Emily is lucky to make her own sweets :)
Aww, i love this idea! Im definitely going to have to remember this come fall :)
Wow, what a great idea to use your melon baller to make the apples. We're definitely going to try this! Thanks for the great idea!
I really can't wait to try these with Lu! And I love your new background too! Would you please add it to Mr. Linky? Thanks for sharing!
We are going to make caramel apples sometime this fall too - now I think I'm going to make this smaller version - Matthew will love it (especially the sprinkles)! Thanks for another great idea!
I will have to try this and see if Selena will eat apples fixed this way. She has never been much of a fruit eater not even as a baby starting baby food.
That is such a practical idea! My kids, especially the little ones, never EVER eat an entire caramel apple. They're just too big! These will be perfect for them. Thank you!!!
Michelle, these are really very cute! I bet they were fun to make too. And perfect for little fingers and mouths. *Ü*
THat's a great idea! That would go along nicely with our apple week too, thanks.
Oh, I want to do this. What a really fun idea.
I love this idea and I am sure my kids are going to have a great time making them. Thanks for sharing it!
What a great idea. I love the mini idea, plus they'd be a lot easier to eat:)
Thanks so much for sharing the idea and linking to this week's Show and Tell!
Thanks for this cute idea! I'm going to make these this week with my soon to be 2 year old :)
Also thanks for sharing "10 apples on top" project. I did the same thing for my preschool class when I taught. I may have to do it again with my daughter :)
What a great blog you have!
JDaniel would love "cooking" these up. Thanks for telling me about this post.
