Our week in TOTSchool
Emily is 2 1/2 years old!!!
Emily liked playing with Juliette in her bouncer. She showed her how the different rattles worked and likes turning on the music for her!
Emily did some straw painting which she really enjoyed!
At playgroup the girls had fun keeping cool in the pool.
Emily did an Open Ended Art painting with mixing yellow and green. We turned this into wrapping paper for her cousin's birthday party.
Emily trying to pick our first cucumber of the season.
Emily learned that tugging on it as in the last picture results in a broken, but still edible cucumber!!!
I made Emily pattern blocks out of foam (I couldn't wait to get our set of wood ones) and used the printable worksheet that The Activity Mom posted about from this website.
Emily had a lot of fun playing outside at her cousin's 5th Birthday Party!
Emily learned how to use the blood pressure cuff from coming with me for all my prenatal Dr. appointments!
Emily and her cousin had a good time playing Doctor together.
Our favorite books from this week:
- Green Eggs and Ham ~ Dr. Seuss
- Dinosaur Roar! ~ Henrietta Stickland
- Go, Dog. Go! (Beginner Books) ~ P.D. Eastman
- The Very Hungry Caterpillar ~ Eric Carle (Emily retells this story by herself really well, I guess that's what happens when you read it every day over and over again!!)

I'm so jealous of the cucumber and garden! =)
Great idea to make those blocks out of foam!
I'm loving all these activities. I LOVE her face in the cucumber picture - so sweet, and a little confused. :)
I'm jealous of that ginormous cucumber too! Ours didn't do so well, but it was our 1st attempt, so I'm just chalkin' it up.
Great idea on the foam blocks and the straw painting is very cool!
Great week, and I sorely want those pattern blocks too. Emily is such a sweetie, and an awesome big sister!
