Our Trip to the Children's Museum of the East End
Today was a really rainy day so I told Emily I would take her to the Long Island Children's Museum, where we have a membership, however it turns out the museum was closed today for a special event. So instead we decided to take a little road trip in the rain to check out the Children's Museum of the East End. It was a much longer ride than I expected, about an hour and a half...I'm sure the rain didn't help, but it was a lot of fun!!
The museum has lots of hands on exhibits that deal with life and wildlife on the East End of Long Island. In addition there is a drop in art exhibit where Emily was able to paint with water colors and use clay and a get Active Exhibit, structures to climb and play on.
Here are some pictures from our trip:
What a great way to spend a rainy day!!
How do you like to spend your rainy days????

Looks like so much fun!
I love Children's Museums!
Rainy days are great days for crafts, that or great days for going to a local indoor park of some kind.
We are going to our Children's Museum next month and can't wait!
