Mess-Free Painting
This weeks Unplugged project was "Happy." This project made both Emily and I happy. I was glad that there was no mess to clean up (I actually don't mind the mess...but easy clean up and a fun activity is always a good thing) and Emily loved squishing the paint round and was amazed that her hands were still clean. We made letters and smiley faces in it.
I actually saw this idea in "First Art" by MaryAnn Kohl. All you need is a Ziploc bag and some paint. I squeezed some magenta and yellow paint into the bag. Sealed it and then let Emily move it all around. I helped her too, beacuase it really is a lot of fun!!!

I totally did this today with my son! Except I put sponges in it and not so much paint. It was fun!
I am so excited to try this idea, paint always makes me a little nervous, so this is a great idea for us!!! Thanks!
